The grandparents' planet
is a beautiful village, surrounded
by tall fir trees
with peaks as tall as the Carpathians.
It is a dreamy and sunny land,
where childhood
learns to fly,
a universe of flowers,
of songs, of butterflies,
of colors,
where we can listen to
the whisper of the river flowing,
the sound of the germinating seeds
and the wheat growing.
The grandparents' planet
is a paradise
where an old shepherd
plays Pan's flute.
How we miss all that!
It is a village with bright windows
where birds
with golden feathers come
and tell stories
about spring,
about immortality
and about the sun.
