A Child's Drawing

He dares to draw a little bit
a bird who dreams
to rest on a sun beam
and wishes to travel on it.

This kid's got the courage, I heard,
to link everything with his brush:
the sky to the trees,
the moon to the sun,
the game to the wandering bird.
