A Child's Face

He drew the flight on the page
but no image was left
on the paper;
He drew a bird
on a beam of light
and suddenly the song
started to fly
towards the sky.

And, instead of the thunder,
with great fun,
he drew a dragon;
a golden horse instead
of the wind;
instead of the rainbow,
a marvelous rose
and a child's face
instead of the sun.
