The little cricket
plays the violin
and takes us to the summer
with his song.
He passes happy
through the flowers
with the river
in his coat.
Chirp-chirp-chirp
a moon song
in the grass
after the storm.
Chirp-chirp-chirp
an angel's song
on the wings
of the clouds.
The little cricket
Chirp-chirp-chirp
sings in the evening
songs for the stars
and for all the children.
