The Snowman
In the garden, next to the street
stands the snowman;
I have made him myself
out of the white carpet of snow.
Even if it snows,
even if it's cold,
I enjoy playing with him,
but, look, when the sun shines
he thaws and is sad
For no one can see him
from now on
clad in my book.
